This course fulfills the requirements of Senate Bill 1436 for mediation training in Texas. INTERNSHIP - CONFLICT MANAGEMENT

Students obtain field experience through conducting mediations and dealing effectively with conflict management situations in a live practical environment. Students will practice in-takes and role plays. Students will develop marketing strategies and hone additional practical skills necessary to become a successful mediator and conflict resolution specialist.  Class Meets:  Tues, 08/25,  Tues, 09/27,  Tues 10/27, Tues 12/08.
**Requires travel to small claims courts and availability to mediate at various locations.**
