H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery Presents Advanced Student Work
 
The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College presents “Studio Active: Advanced Studio Exhibition” from November 14 – December 6.
 
The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College announces its annual exhibition of advanced student work, “Studio Active: Advanced Studio Exhibition.” Eleven student artists have been chosen from our program, representing the best from the advanced studio courses at El Centro.
 
The Studio Active Exhibition is composed of the following advance studio classes: Drawing II, Advanced Ceramics, Advanced Painting, Sculpture, Advance Digital Art and Advanced Print Making.
 
Media submitted includes figure drawing, painting, printmaking, sticker/street art, digital imaging, and mixed media sculpture. The goal of this exhibition is to foster professional practices in the work of our advanced fine art students, and as such, they will each prepare artist statements and a short gallery talk for the reception to be held Thursday, November 17 from 2-4 p.m.
 
Student artists in this year’s exhibition include: Elizabeth Romero, Mark Turner, Georgina Martinez, Paul Maginnis, Aza Smith, Brittney Capps, Francisco Gonzales, Natalee Trinidad, David Wilson, Travis Smithhart and J.R. McFarline.
